AGO/UITP Sustainable Development Makes Good Business Sense
Seminar Proceedings, 27-28 October 2004
Sustainability by its nature spans sectors and frontiers and is therefore international. Despite widespread verbal support the development model we presently follow is unsustainable and will not lead to future economic prosperity. Current trends are not consistent with a sustainable future and this special Workshop set in context some of the key issues facing public transport and sustainable development, using both national and international examples and speakers.
This event was specifically targeted at UITP members wishing to learn more about the business case for engaging sustainable development as well as to a wider audience.
